The Solution
Following a thorough site survey and discussion with the site manager, we decided to deploy a comprehensive array of measures to ensure that all their requirements were fully met.
Firstly, we installed a Sentinel system in the main Plant Room. This would be used as the main hub for the leak detection sensors.
Following our survey, we determined that there would be 13 areas over two plant rooms and the feed room. Where there have either been reported problems with water egress or areas with aged plant and pipework that raised concerns.
We therefore placed the sensors in the designated positions and fully tested them to ensure that these were not only reporting moisture in the area, but also that they reported when the moisture had dissipated. Therefore, allowing our in-house monitoring station to be able to provide the earliest possible warning of leaks or flooding and determine if the moisture had dispersed.
As each sensor is itemised, we are able to determine the exact location of the alert and notify the client straight away to the precise location.
We continue to provide them with effective Leak & Flood Protection.
Wireless sensors protect against leaks in boiler rooms, sewers, or roofs. The system instantly alerts users to minimise damage.
