Garic

Select Group has established a working relationship with Garic to provide them with security and cleaning services throughout the UK. As such, Garic approached us for security support for one of their clients at a site in the South of England. We met with the site manager on site and carried out a full free survey. From there, we gave the Site Manager a full plan and options on the best ways to ensure his full site was protected.

The Problem

The site in South of England had issues due to being both dynamic and covering a larger area. It also had limited power and would not lend itself to a preferred CCTV tower or Site View fixed system.

The Solution

Following a thorough site survey and discussion with the Garic client, we decided to deploy a comprehensive array of measures to ensure that all their requirements were fully met. Firstly, we installed 3 fully self-powered Sentinel Pods. One Sentinel to protect the compound, and 2 floating over a 2-mile area to protect their valuable plant.

We also engaged with the site team daily allowing them to move the Sentinel pods with the works.

The Outcome

As a result of the measures put in place, and the efforts of our team, we secured the full site and fitted the 3 Sentinel Pods within 24 hours, this allowed Garic to document the whole process to allow this as a group model for the client. Within 2 days the Sentinel Pods did their job by stopping 4 individuals from gaining access to the main compound. As evidenced below, they tried to damage the Sentinel but were dispersed by its piercing siren. They left the site without causing any damage and due to the quick actions of our inhouse Monitoring team, were apprehended by the police 5 minutes after the first alarm sounded. They achieved this by utilising our other Sentinel cameras and tracking their movements. A perfect example of man and machine working in unison to get the best result for the client.
