Select Group has recently established a new working relationship with Garic to provide them Security and Cleaning Services throughout the UK. As such Garic approached us for fully security support during the construction of their new flagship depot in Reading. This had to be coupled with their drive for sustainable and reliable technology and also a requirement for state of the art time-lapse photography to showcase the whole build.

The Problem

Garic are fully focused as a business at sustainable site solutions. With their main tag line being “For sustainability, for service, for simplicity. Garic is thinking beyond the box.”. As such they requested we use fully solar solutions that use as little carbon as possible while ensuring full site safety during their construction.

The Solution

Following a thorough site survey and discussion with Garic head office, we decided to deploy a comprehensive array of measures to ensure that all their requirements were fully met. Firstly, we installed 4 fully Solar CCTC Towers to protect the perimeter of the depot.. We then proceeded with fully Solar Powered Mini Timelapse Camera that was mounted on overhead lights, to enable full footage of the build from start to finish. As part of this service we provided Garic with weekly video updates of the site that we fully branded for them to use as part of their marketing literature.

The Outcome

As a result of the measures put in place, and the efforts of our team, we secured the full site and fitted the Time-lapse camera within 24 hours, this allowed Garic to document the whole build and get rapid protection against any site intrusions.
